Pure rotational microwave absorption spectrum
« on: March 01, 2015, 07:36:41 PM »
Is it possible for the spherical rotor, methane, to show a pure rotational microwave spectrum if it becomes sufficiently distorted by rotation? This is actually the case with the spherical rotor, SiH4, but I was wondering if it is also the case with CH4 :)

Kind regards

Ever thought of googling "CH4 microwave spectrum"? I did, and found this:
