Just a suggestion, but have you thought of adding color to the periodic table. Right now it's just plain. Maybe add color by type of element like metal, metalloid, non-metal.

Nah, colors become problematic for so many of the elements.

Ok, I understand. Colors become a problem in if not done right it looks bad and it becomes a pain in website devolpment.

So many elements pose a difficulty in catagorising them into metal, non-metal, metalloid, semi-conductor.. because the characteristics of some elements fall on to more than 1 category.
