Electron Configuration Question

Could anyone tell me how to make the electron configuration using this method (please see image below)?



Please show me an example, where the element is Ca, 20 electrons.

I don't see a "method" in your image, just a symbol that looks like an orbital with two electrons of opposite spins, identical with one of our symbols:  :spinpaired:

It's called a Hund's rule.

Rule is a rule, it is not a method.

The symbol you used - while can be used in the context of the Hund's rule - is not its equivalent.

I can only guess you are asking for an application of the Hund's rule to determine the electron configuration of the calcium metal. However, Hund's rule is not applicable here.
