TFA removal

how can i remove trifluoroacetic acid from mixture of transition-metal complex and this acid? according to 19F NMR my product is contaminated with it. i have no idea how can i act in this situation, i have no experience with this complexes. i dont know if i could wash product with something basic or try to evaporate? this complex cotains? -NH3 and -Cl and -OCOCF3 connected with Metal

Sounds to me like your contamination is ammonium trifluoroacetate because if it where the free acid, it would simply remove ammonia from the complex. Adding a base or acid will most likely destroy the complex. I recommend trying to purify by recrystallizing from a saturated solution of ammonia to preserve the complex, the contaminant should be very soluble in polar solvents.
