Percent alcohol in distillate
« on: September 08, 2015, 04:03:47 PM »
Hey guys, I just recently finished a lab where we fermented molasses and then distilled the alcohol from the solution.  The last calculation I have to make is the percent alcohol in the distillate collected.  It says to use the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, but I can't seem to find the right section.  If someone could steer me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated, thank you!

Check the section: Concentrative Properties of Aqueous Solutions.
Chemists do it periodically on table.
