Hi, all!
I have a problem about the enamine which will be made by secondary amine, such as NH(Bn)Me with keto ester, could it happen? If it could be, how to make this type of enamine?I have no ideal to this problem and I couldn't find any literatures! Would you help me? Thank you!

Usually you just need to reflux the two for a few hours using a Dean-Stark apparatus to remove the water that is formed.
