[mercury reaction] which one will it favors?
« on: November 23, 2015, 02:08:54 PM »
??? If mercury (Hg2+) is mixed (treated) with three different acids 1) HNO3 2) Sulfamic Acid (H2NSO3H) and 3) HCl

Which one will it favors first? Which of these acids provide "better/secure" ligand with mercury?
I know all of these acids is to prevent mercury from reduction, but unsure the mechanisms behind it.

would deeply appreciate your *delete me*!!
