Hello everyone!
I came across this chemical while studying. (1-methyl-n-butylbromide)
I just want to verify that I got it right, so please correct me if I am wrong.
1-methyl-n-butylbromide is the same as 1-methyl-n-bromobutane.
Again, this is the same as 2-bromopentane, thus the reaction leading to this chemical is: 2-pentene + hydrogen bromide.
Did I get it right?
