Pressure experiment

Can somebody please explain me what is the mechanism for the experiment in the link. From what I see I would say that the amount of gas compounds should be larger not smaller, and positive pressure should be formed, not lower, which seems to be the case. I don't see other explanations. Thanx for answers.

[itex]P = \frac{nRT}{V}[/itex]
What happens to P when you hold n and V constant but you reduce T (by extinguishing the flame)?

Pressure goes down, obviously, but why temperature goes down?

The temperature drops because the flame is extinguished.
