What do you mean by the common salt - sodium chloride?

No, you're in luck, sodium chloride doesn't decompose at its melting point.  Getting it that hot, safely, can be a challenge for a novice.

Dear sir
Currently  i am running an industrial plant to process common salt i.e. sodium chloride .
There i feel a little amount of chlorine in air on heating it nearly 770 ~ 800 degree Celsius. 
So i needed to know about how to detect the presence of chlorine in that air

There may be test strips available for general use, or for larger scales, hazardous release sensors.  You could also sample the air, and have it submitted for GC
