I almost always right-click to open the link in a new tab.  That works most of the time, but there are occasional links that want a new window.  The latest Firefox (1.5) has a setting to force such annoying links to open in another tab, instead of a new window.

I hadn't noticed this site being special, when it comes to this, however.

Middle click - opens in a new tab, but in the background. Very usefull. That's standard Opera setting ;)

do what i do all the time; ctrl-click with "Select new tabs from opened from links" disabled  ;)

and thats a good idea, i think i'll try out firefox 1.5; im still using 1.0.7, saw no reason to change

Not different, I am just too lazy to use my left hand to press Crtl. Right hand keeps mouse and if I can do something just clicking, why should I use some combination of click and key pressing?

Imagine I am picking my nose when browsing the net - I can't just touch the keybord, I have both hand busy, one with mouse, one with nose ;)

I can imagine other hand-eye coordination behavior with the computer. LOL.
