Anyone else observing missing peaks if radicals are present in crude proton nmr spectra, for example?

methylene dioxy aryl singlet --> doublet of doublets with a J value of 1 Hz, so maybe this is just a RO-CHD-RO peak?  I suspect radicals because I was working with this
