I can't find a method which can apply to quantitative analysis 1,3-Dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin, please help me.Thanks!

The bromine is considered active and has a formal charge of +1.  Analysis is by adding KI and simple thiosulfate reaction with starch indicator.  Remember there will be 4I- used for each DBDMH molecule

How about HPLC?

I have tried RP-HPLC on these kinds of molecules.  The active bromine oxidizes organics and causes all kinds of extra peaks.  Also,the DBDMH in any aqueous solvent will be in equilibrium with BrO-, mono BrDMH and DMH itself.  The whole mess is not good for quantitation
