Determine mg/L of pure liquid
« on: December 09, 2016, 11:28:22 AM »
Hi!

I need to make solutions of 2-phenoxyethanol (PhE), a liquid with molar mass of 138.16 and density of 1.1 g/ml.  How do I convert solutions of PhE from ml/L to mg/L, which is commonly reported?

For example, a common range of solutions is 0.1-0.3 ml/L PhE (in water), but articles often report as mg/L rather than ml/L.

Thanks!

What is mass of 0.1 mL of PhE?
