hello, I'm not a chemistry major quite just yet but I would love to start experimenting with chemicals. I was wondering about naproxen sodium & whether it would be possible to make it in my kitchen. I emailed a couple of professors from local universities & I guess they were all to busy to answer such a question. would anyone in the forum help me? I would like to do just as my subject line implies, I would like to synthesize naproxen sodium.

You won't have the raw materials.  You won't have the equipment or skill.  You won't be sure your product isn't flawed, because you don't have quality control -- either the policy or the analytical ability.  So the entire process is moot.   You will have the same success scaling up a paper airplane to a passenger size, or learning to drive by treading the automobile model's manual.
