Differences in logP

I've found the logP for my molecule to be 2,4 (on various scientific articles),  however when comparing it the value to a program called ChemDraw it gives me a LogP of 2,53. Why is there a difference?

What is your molecule? What is log P? How is it measured or calculated? How does ChemDraw do it? How was it done in your references? Are they independent or are they all quoting the same original determination (which might be wrong)? Is a difference of 0.13 significant?
