Borazine is closer analogue of benzene.
Explain on basis of preparation , molecular structure and reactions of borazine
OK, an interesting class assignment, lets get started.
i know how they are comparable in terms of structure
Well, they're both ring structures, I can only assume the electrons in borazine are delocalized as in benzine, but they're going to have different bond lengths, by definition.
and reactions ..
That isn't true.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borazine#Reactions.but how are they comparable in terms of preparation ??
can anyone please explain
That's a tough one, given that benzene isn't so much synthesized from scratch, but purified from side-reactions of other petroleum processing, and I've never heard of boron oil wells. They may be totally different, or you may find a similarity between some synthetic methods. Either way, that answers the question.
