Yes, I did an H-nmr analysis of the oxalate salt. I also determined the melting point (melt traject) and it was almost the same as in the literature.

Nice that you have got the 3-aminothiophene. My guess is that the Cbz-ptotected amine should be resonable soluble in organic solvent.
