Osmotic pressure
« on: April 09, 2018, 11:21:47 AM »
Hello,

I have a question about this exercise:

A plant has an osmotic concentration in its root epidermal cells of 7,2 g/L. If it were introduced in a medium with distilled water, what would happen? And in a medium with a solution of 7,8 g/L? What would be the ideal concentration of the medium to live the plant?

I only have one question and that is that if in a medium of distilled water the osmotic pressure is greater or less than 7,2 g/L?

Thanks
