maybe my book is wrong again, i dont know
but anyway i just want to make sure what is the correct answer
Which of the following solutions will have the lowest electrical conductivity?
A) 0.1M HF
B) 0.1M NaHSO
3
C) 0.1M H
2
SO
3
D) 0.1M NaF
the book said A, but i think it should be B
what do you guys think?
thank you

No, the
concentration of ions
in 0.1 M HF is much lower than 0.1 M NaHSO
3
. HF does not ionize into H
+
& F
-
very much, but sodium compounds will be fully ionized. So, a solution of NaHSO
3
conducts electricity better than a solution of HF.

Its what we are here for.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
