Purify sample of silica
« on: July 05, 2018, 02:30:57 PM »
Hi everyone, I work with silica samples of approximately 2 micrometers. There was a contamination in this, probably by repeating used pipette tips. There are several smaller bodies, which move quickly and prevent me from studying the movement of the silica spheres. I tried to centrifuge and put the alcohol in the hope that the contamination was some living thing. However, I did not succeed. What else can I do?
