I have taken magnesium oxide and burn(react with oxygen) it it make magnesium oxide

Great. I think it was asked what you tried to solve the problem.

1. First is to balance the chemical equation.
2.  Calculate the moles of the magnesium what you used.
3. Read how much mole this correspond to the magnesium oxide
4. calculate back to the mass of MgO
