Hi,

I 've been searching for the meaning of pM and it is somehow related to pH (hydrogen potential). I've tried searching on the web but  unfortunately there seems to be no exact definition (except for "prime minister"). I'd be very greatful if someone could answer this . Thanks.

p stands for -log, the real question is what M stands for.

Hah, you are right - OP suggestion that it is related to pH made me think in -log categories. But without the context it can't be decided.

One might assume they had a typographical error and meant pH instead of pM.

I have one another idea since the thread started - pM may stand for pMe - like in pNa, pCa and so on. I believe we used such symbol when discussing ion selective electrodes, but it can be that it was me who used such symbol for my own purposes
