Byproducts of Organic Reaction
« on: March 20, 2019, 10:27:31 AM »
Hi just a quick question, just wondering what the byproduct of this reaction would be.

I think it might be CH3Br but I am unsure.

Thanks.

It looks correct. You can search for articles on the Michaelis–Arbuzov reaction for more details.

See:

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
